Professional Land Surveyor
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Professional Land Surveyor. Individuals must be committed and operate with a high level of integrity and accountability.
PLS responsibilities include:
- Direct or conduct various types of surveying including boundary, land divisions, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, etc.
- Perform various survey calculations and sign and seal survey drawings
- Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations
- Prepare or supervise preparation of all survey data, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
- Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain property information
- Write descriptions of surveys for use in deeds or other legal documents
- Manage, schedule and supervise daily responsibilities of the survey crew(s)
- Prepare proposals and bid survey projects
- Maintain excellent client and inter-office relations
Position requirements:
- Possess a current Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor license
- 2 – 5 years experience as a PLS
- Proficient in AutoCad / Carlson Survey
- Excellent managerial and communication skills (written and oral)

- Experience with Carlson Survey software is highly desirable

- Strong mathematical skills essential for survey calculations and data analysis.
- Highly computer literate, with a solid foundation in Microsoft Office products and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Survey Crew Chief
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Survey Crew Chief.
Qualifications:
- Perform outdoor field work including but not limited to staking, plat of survey, boundaries, lot line adjustments and survey with topography
- Work as a one- or two-man crew
- Utilize survey equipment, robotic total station, and GPS/GNSS RTK
- Use of Auto CAD/Carlson Survey
- Able to lift and transport heavy equipment
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- 3-5 years experience

Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience a plus

- Course work in surveying or related field a plus
